What happens when conservatives get mugged by reality?

I’m curious because we hear so much about the other side of the coin. Let’s say our stereotypical American conservative (goes to church every Sunday, hates socialized medicine, loves the military, believes that America is number one and believes in the family values of the Republican Party) finds out that his beloved church is involved in sex scandals, finds out that America doesn’t have the greatest health-care system in the world despite what Rush Limbaugh and others tell him (look up the facts for Japan and France and Switzerland, please), is actually called upon to fight for his country in the armed forces, discovers that several countries also enjoy freedom and a high standard of living (Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Ireland, Luxembourg, etc.) and that several of his beloved Republican politicians are actually adulterers, does he get disillusioned or does he stick to his guns? Lord knows, most of the aforementioned happened to me, and it shook me up pretty badly!

THEY WIN IN 2010 and 2012! WE WOKE UP..that is what happens.

You have your facts a little skewed there . I see a lot of Aussies, Canadians, French and others complain about their health care. In France in 2003 10,000 and more DIED because they couldn’t put air conditioning in their hospitals and they didn’t think it was important to keep the old folks alive. (GOOGLE IT)….

You are forgetting one thing. We are NOT OTHER COUNTRIES..that is why we are the strongest one around. We are the one others come to for help and we are the ones that help around the world.

We are not them…THANK GOD. We have our own government and our own constitution and if you want a copycat country…go live in one you don’t have to be ashamed of or wish you lived in !

I won’t go into your silly and absurd assessment of how Republicans are sexually and morally wrong etc. I think we can go toe to toe with that one and even put you IN the lead.

WE ONLY HAD ONE PRESIDENT that had sex in the oval room and was humiliated and embarrassed us and he was a democrat. We have COWARDS in the white house in Democrats. Who did anything to protect our country. DEMOCRAT Presidents…just kissed butts and said..that is ok….bomb the twin towers…next time you can take them down….it is ok to hijack planes and keep 400 of our people captive because we didn’t have the kahoonas to do anything to get them back….
want me to go on? I could you know. We could talk about the Kennedy’s…now those were moral men weren’t they? Their father messed up with the mob and corruption and a President having affairs …while his brother murdered someone else? Are we finished? NOPE….I could go on and on and on.

IT is the conservatives that give you your jobs and your hope…once you all destroy things…we pick them up..and we will do that again in 2010 and in 2012. Don’t worry..sanity will return next year after ! You don’t have to sing the praises of that bozo in office. You won’t get punished…but you might actually HAVE TO WORK!

You can be stupid and point out what you think of us…and the truth is….there are immoral people in all races…all cultures and all situations. When you hold US ALL IN that category…then you do an injustice to many good people that fight against it and can still be proud to be an AMERICAN!

BUT…as a veteran myself…I DO NOT…WILL NOT EVER approve of a communist, socialist LIAR who is running our country into the ground. He started out a racist and is STILL A RACIST (need I mention Rev Wright)…and need we really need to go into all the names and sleeze that surrounds this bozo in office? Didn’t he say we could judge a man by the people that surround him? WE are doing just what he asked us to do. JUDGE HIM for the sleeze that is around him.

I would rather think you misguided dems and libs are just blind and not seeing straight.

NO SIDE has all the answers….but you have to get off your EXTREMISM to listen and help find a solution instead of being the problem!
