How to preserve lollies…?
I’m from New Zealand and the biggest confectionery company in NZ & Australia are no longer producing some of their lollies. There’s been a bit of an uproar and people are putting them on the NZ version of Ebay. My best friend and I bought some but we’re going to wait until they’re worth a bit more.
How can we preserve them so that they don’t go mushy or yukky?

Could I put them in a zip lock bag? How long (years) do you think that they would last for being frozen?
Lol not eating them is the hardest part! No they’re both hard lollies.
Some of the provisions in Captain Scott’s hut at McMurdo were manufactured 100 years ago and they’re still edible. Lollies, like the ones that Cadbury’s are withdrawing, last almost indefinitely if they’re kept cool and dry. Put them in the freezer and they’ll last forever. Dry goods like biscuits, booze, sugar, spices, chocolate. cocoa, coffee, tea and canned goods also last more or less indefinitely if kept cold and dry.
